South Park...who are you and what is your purpose as quite frankly it doesn't seem you have one on this board. You never say anything productive .. "

Arristras ... those decorative gathered groups of chilis commonly seen in and around the Rio Grande Valley, i.e. Santa Fe.
Wasn't meant to be a smart comment. That is where the line got its nickname. You see them hanging on many homes, especially traditional locales. I have one in my kitchen now from my last trip to Santa Fe. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with this term / tradition?
Let's see, "productive" .... first I answer the question posed "Where did the Chili Line get its name" with the answer "chilis", then added the term locally used for these hanging bunches of chilis (arristras). Just how "productive" an answer would you like ?
My last post involved informing the questioner that the 2-6-2 currently for sale at Silverwood has a new boiler not built to FRA spec's, specifically lacking from 1/3 to 1/2 the required staybolts required for locomotive boiler use. I got this information from Silverwood AND other parties who looked at the locomotive for purchase
What kind of "productive" information are you specifically looking for?
How about this, ... you tell me specifically why the CHS still holds title to the Loop property? And I am not taking "they don't want to sell" as an answer. They are a public entity, responsible and accountable to the public who just happen to be threatening the public welfare and numerous other public entities not just locally, but statewide through malfeasance and misuse of public funds, specifically education funds, in a terribly pinched State budget situation?
Go ahead, show me what a "productive" answer is supposed to look like. I'm all earballs.
