Here is the meet at the top on the east side of the highway — 484 has taken the main; 483 will drop the rider gon off in the siding:




Running past the special train:




Without the rider gon, 483 heads down the 4%:




Very late in the day, 484 rolls down toward Lobo Lodge, after leaving most of the train at the top except refer 157:




Then enters the Narrows:




This one of the Scenic Railways Music trains, here is a photo taken by Clovis Butterworth, which shows the Scenic Dixieland band playing some tunes before 483 and the passenger train left (why it needed a partially repainted RPO is anyone's guess):
