Very little in good 3 ft. equipment. The other two common narrow gauges is 30 inch and 27 1/2 inch gauges. All together I would guess that there is enough for 20-30 locomotives in all three gauges. However the Cubans have designated most of the 30 inch gauge lines as Cultural Heritage sites. They plan to keep them as parks. The 27 1/2 inch gauge is isolated in one area east of Havana and has only less than a dozen steamers from three mills. Many narrow gauge steamers are dumped locos, missing a lot of hardware. There is a few abandoned lines that have hulks siting around.
I think you are likely to see more standard gauge engines exported. As others have pointed out before these locos have had minimum maintenance for decades. Once boiler surveys are done to these locos, then we get into the cost of repairing or reboilering the engine.
Obviously Cuba is strapped for cash. If they sell most of these engnes, the Ministry of Sugar may then start to scrap any junkers for more cash. Scrapping steam locos has now started in isolated cases. If this is successful to the Spanish, it may bring other countries around to selling steam if it is brokered.
