Simply put, Roger, Chris, and George, you are all right. As retired law enforcement and former officer of the court, I'll point out that there are (in my opinion) only allegations of actions made by Tommy Campos. For all the rest who have been involved in the post regarding this matter, That is NOT enough for a court to prove guilt. If there is a belief a crime has been committed, and or an investigation is necessary there needs to be probable cause or some evidence to support it. If there is an investigation that provides a preponderance of evidence that a crime has been committed, then and only then should there be a possible charging adjudication determined necessary. All this time the suspect, even if charged, is presumed innocent and free through all preliminary hearings and Trial hearing, unless the court finds there is sufficient evidence the suspect is viewed to be a risk to the community or a flight from justice risk. All rules of the court and rules of law must be followed in the process. The suspect also has certain other rights that must be observed through out the process. There are also other details that I could address, but I feel I have said enough. Let the court and or a jury of the defendant's peers (if selected), determine any guilt. Don't presume guilt or try to be a judge and jury, and IF there is a case developed let the process work to its conclusion. People do have their own opinions, and we all have the right of free speech, but in matters that may be before the court as well other times, we all should choose our speech carefully so as not to infringe on others rights or incite others to negative actions.
