As of today IMHO he is not guilty. He is innocent until a court of law says different . You are right we don't know what a court of law will decide but until then he is not guilty and or innocent of any crime.

"A presumption of innocence means that any defendant in a criminal trial is assumed to be innocent until they have been proven guilty. As such, a prosecutor is required to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person committed the crime if that person is to be convicted."
