Not exactly, Russ -

Back in the previous century SOME condescending folks considered ALCO’s classy (and smokey) PA passenger diseasels as honorary steam locomotives, especially when they too began disappearing from the ATSF and S.P., but NO WAY should any other diseasels – ALCO or not – be so honored.
