Roger is very upfront about the topic when he posts wildlife photos & videos. Its right there in the thread title. So its pretty simple to just not read those kinds of threads -- just don't open them!


I occasionally tweak Roger's nose (that is a pun, see this "wildlife" thread) when he posts on non-railroad topics, but its all Chama area related material. I didn't see anyone complaining about the various restaurant and/or hotel/motel (or Chama 'water') threads that pop up here. Those aren't "railroad" threads either.

And let me note that while I am not a Trainorders.com subscriber, I do often read the 1st page of threads (its free of charge). I have noted that Roger used to frequently post photos & videos to Trainorders, but appears to have completely stopped posting to Trainorders after there were various members complaining about his content.

I do not recall NGDF site owner Nathan complaining about the cost of the "site hosting" electrons. And we have seen in the past that NGDF moderators are pretty quick to block content that they deem inappropriate.


I think Roger's photos and videos add significantly to NGDF.
