The original roundhouse was in the yard at Wiscasset, a Maine seacoast town, which was the southern terminus of the WW&F. The current museum yard (and engine house) is located in the town of Alna, about 5 miles to the north. We call it Sheepscot, because the current yard is roughly at the location of the original Sheepscot Station on the line.

The location of the original yard is now occupied by the athletic fields of the Wiscasset Elementary School. You can see it on Google Earth.
