They
should have the tooling for all their previous runs I would imagine, but something strikes me as such that they lost it or something. You can tell at least on the production samples from a year or two ago of 315 a lot of things looked out of proportion or weird like the smokebox front and dome heights, seeing the list of their previous products I'd imagine you could easily go back and borrow a lot of things from the list of consolidations they've previously made.
On the final model it looks like we are about to get, the air reservoir on the tender is too small and the linkage to the whistle seems totally freelanced, to list a few things.
