Re: What happened to the Rio Grande Southern #36 project?

Progress on the 36 is continuing steadily, with no problems after the fire and covid. Recent guesstimate by the folks paying for it (after a recent on-site inspection - which is happening regularly) was 85% completion. As others have said, the folks financing the project have learned long ago that as soon as you predict a completion date, something happens to postpone it, so the official word is that it will be done when it's done, and the world will see it at that time. But current status is as listed here, and work is definitely progressing steadily and at a very high quality.
