May I suggest that you contact Dr Robert Stears of the San Juan Model Company who I know has a real passion for 19th Century D&RG Narrow Gauge Stock Cars.

Over the last decade Robert has contributed many first class drawings of the older cars, including D&RG #5323, to numerous editions of the Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette. I regret that I cannot locate my copy at present but I suggest you look up a Gazette Index to identify which issue carried the specific article.

You are looking for CRS TRUST "E" [D&RG] Stock Car #5323. In 1882, the D&RG built 300 narrow gauge stock cars, numbered 5153 -5452, using the "Standard of 1881".

If you fail to locate Robert please contact me by email [creedstonepubs@aol.com] and I can send you a copy from my files.

If you do contact him please give him my regards.

Best of luck in your search.
