On page 153 of 'The Age of Steam' Beebe & Clegg refer to "the Yosemite Valley Railroad.  So were there two different railroads, or did the railroad from Merced to El Portal have different names at different times?   (BTW, elsewhere in 'The Age of Steam' a U.P. 4-6-6-4 is referred to as a "Big Boy" . . . ).
