Per Ernie Robart's map of the C&TS © 1970 -
(Corrupted by Terry Ross addition of his "Track of the CATS" logo © 1973), the tracks in front of the depot run NNNE toward Lobato (or SSSW toward the wye), so let's simplify and say, for all practical purposes, the FRONT of the depot faces East, and therefore anything BEHIND the depot is to it's West, and the building in question is the large one pointed to by the large arrow in the following purloined picture, stolen and modified without permission by yore's trooly:
MANY, MANY years ago there was a shopping center at that location, as seen in the background of this moldy oldie — stolen from Roosso Loco's post at [ngdiscussion.net] butt not modified:
And IIRC the building that was there a dozen or so years ago succumbed to a collapsed roof caused by – believe it or not – too much snow . . .
