I have been in discussions with both the D&S and Rico Historical Society to do what you have suggested. The main problem is no one has any funds available for the move of equipment and labor to put in the trackage, and I believe there is a problem with ownership of the property. The town owns the site of the tank, but it is surrounded by private property, and that has to be resolved first. The cars are available and so too might the track and ties, but it still takes money. The D&S has a lot of drop bottom gons that are not being used, far more than they would ever need, so that may be the display car of choice, and I thought maybe 2 of them would work rather than one lonely speciman.
