Yes, I just read this response from Will Grant. Interesting to know that some of these historic locos were built to be oil fired.
With regard to Im346's comment about not getting into the coal versus oil for steam locomotives debate, I did not mean that the engine should be coal-fired. I fully understand the fears about wildfires these days. I simply meant that from the photographic perspective, seeing old time coal-burning steam locomotives chug along adds to the colorful display from a historic perspective.
