Did you notice how they are now saying that having engines run on the Loop next year is "in doubt"? The story is already changing!
I also noticed that the CHS still won't give ANY specifics about who or what will operate that road next year. The sugar sweet platitudes that everything is hunky dory is starting to sound like a broken record and what is this little addendum about the Ashby's helping a "transition"!!??!! If true, Mark is a better man than I as I would have laughed in their faces and told them where they could collectively stick their "transition"!!!
Has ANYBODY talked to the legislature??!! This abysmally gross incompetence on the part of the CHS's officers needs to be addressed!
As far as Georgetown is concerned, they have made their bed and now they have to sleep in it! It will probably be only two or three years from now but sooner or later the economy of the region will tank and everyone up there will be crying, "boo hoo" and will be realizing just what they threw away! Of course, that will be after there isn't anything left to preserve.....
