I don't recall 212 or 126 ever being lettered as anything special before 1981. ISTR they just carried their pre-1964 lettering. I do seem to recall them being called Concession cars by the crews though.

The baggage section of 212 was converted to service as a concession car in 1964, along with baggage 126.

Yes, baggage section replaced by concessionaire equipment, coach section seating capacity 22, I think.
For some reason the only time I caught a train with 212 was in 1971(age 10), after that I always wound up on the one with 126 so I remember her better.
