Re: Silver City Pinos Altos and Mogollon NGR

Thanks to Bruce and ‘rainbowroute’ for the information and references about this now long gone railroad. I have a copy of Model Railroader May 1971 which contains a special feature on Shay locomotives and in particular the operations out of Silver City. The article contains some excellent drawings by Allen Brewster of the two new Shays purchased for this railroad, however the written content is mainly derived from the article posted by Bruce. These drawings were the basis of four 1/5 scale live steam models of the two truck Shays.
