FYI: US M29 Weasels were the first of the "Snow Cats" made in any numbers. It was one of Studebakers major contributions to the WWII efforts, it and the Duce and a half trucks. It was powered with the small inline 6 used in the Champion series cars. It was about the size of a jeep and could be loaded with about 1000 bs of stuff, but not so much in the deep snow. it saw operations in Europe and the Pacific. Handy little vehicle that could go places even beyond where jeeps couldn't .
