Except - not knowing the in service days makes such a list typically a wild guess. I'm reasonably sure both CATS and DSNG's regular steam engines see at least 100 days under steam a year which means they will likely hit their 1472 day limit well before 15 years is up. Keep in mind that unexpected boiler issues, worn running gear or other considerations can also take an engine out of service which in turn alters any theoretical 1472 expiration date. An engine consistently in use 5 months each year will burn through it's 1472 in less than 10 years. In service 7 months a year in about 7 years. Out of service vs in service time and general condition makes a huge difference.
