Like it or not I think the decision of this case could be the ballgame on whether the C&TSRR also converts their locos to oil. If the State of Colorado as part owner decides that they don't want to be held liable for a fire, they could withhold funding at the very least to encourage the railroad to convert. I don't know what else they can do, but I'm sure they'd have other tricks up their sleeves.
Let's not do another debate on the likelihood that a fire by the railroad would happen. We've done that a hundred times, but any conversations on the likelihood of the state stepping in and forcing the issue and how they can do that would be appreciated. Of course, that could have been discussed and I just missed it.
