Thanks for posting the article, Chris. I found it interesting that counsel for the D&S has argued for a change of venue to back to Durango from Denver, citing that the jury should be comprised of area residents. That suggests that the D&S attorneys believe that opposition toward the RR in Durango is confined to a vocal minority of its residents. This could also come into play regarding the amount of damages awarded by the jury if it finds in favor of the federal government (charged with representing taxpayers). No doubt about it, this is a serious case with serious consequences.
