Interesting concept. Maybe for a truly accurate Phraud-O-Freight(tm)? depicting 1950-1960s operations some of the shots should include a vintage vehicle in the background matching what the better known (notorious?) photographers that documented the operations were known to drive and appeared in some of their photos.
Maybe some intrepid entrepreneur could offer chasing transportation in said vehicle for the full experience?
All kidding aside, thanks to all those who have documented photographically or verbally what they witnessed now 50+ years ago. Many have caught the last train for Valhalla but some are fortunately still with us.
My only complaint are those who refused to waste their film and time on early diesels. In many instances, there are more surviving steam locos than the diesels that replaced them and scarce documentation of the transition/early diesel era.
