Re: D&RGW late 1960s NG operations

I think there were several trips undocumented, or with just one or two photographers. We chased a work train in June of 1966 with nobody else shooting. Also the June trips eastbound in 1968 from Durango to Alamosa we chased, I believe we were the only ones. All the runs of 1968 were pretty well documented, and our video on 1968 has film coverage of just about all of them, mostly from Ernie Robard. He and Olaf had a big advantage of being close those final 2-3 years of operations and they tried to capture as much as possible. We lived in Ohio and made it out in 1954(Dad), 1956, 1961, 1966, 1967, and 1968. We were relegated to summer due to my brother and I being in school. I was a junior in high school in 1968, so I wasn't really out on my own yet. So I think there were some undocumented freight runs in there especially from 1963-1967. Good to see all this stuff from Olaf coming out in the open.
