Uintah #50 to SVRy #250 in Transition

When former Unitah Ry. #50 was converted to a tender engine by the Sumpter Valley Ry. in 1941, the side tanks were left in place for a while. This allowed the railroad to determine how much added weight might be required to keep an adequate amount of adhesion. Here we see #250 posing in the South Baker yards of the Sumpter Valley Ry.
