We actually tried a new outfit that didn't last. I recommend to anyone in your situation to go out and purchase a Blu-Ray player. Why...because I hear they are no longer making standard DVD players. The advantage of a Blu-Ray player is many really. (1) You can now play Blu-Ray DVD's, which are full HD the same quality it was shot in, (2) As a means of playing your current SD dvd's, (3) They up convert those old SD DVD's to make them slightly better when viewing, and (4) As a back-up for current player that may go bad someday. Most pro video guys don't see a good revenue stream for on demand video, and are sticking with dvd's and Blu-Ray for the time being. Also its hard to wholesale on-demand. No railroad museum, or store can sell anything unless its a dvd of some fashion!!! My 2 cents on the matter.
