Mikky: This post is not to put you down, but only to correct some well intended but incorrect statements about film, and old RR photographs.
Kodak developed Kodachrome (the original) in about
1935. It had an ASA (sensitivity)of 12! Most of the early market was in standard 8mm motion film
and sheet film for professional photographers.
Ektachrome was developed about 12 to 15 years later, after WWII. Any early black and white slides you
or others might have seen were duped from Kodachrome, simply for convenience in projection. Any color photos after the period 1948-50 could have been Ekatachrome, but more likely were Kodachrome, because of market saturation. Just wanted to clarify. Be well, "Bo"
