I would briefly mention that the railroad in Portland's Washington Park is 2ft 6 in gauge and that the steam locomotive is a 5/8 scale replica of the Virginia &Truckee Reno, weighing about 8 tons. As far as I can determine, the engine operates on a number of weekends and for special events each year, with diesel power hauling most trains.
