The blue tank car was originally a UTLX Class X, #12838, made by Pressed Steel Car in 1907. The Class X's had an I-beam under the tank. What is usually called "frameless" was the UTLX Class V. This car was re-mounted on a narrow gauge frame in 1927. I think the I-beam of the Class X was incompatible with narrow gauge trucks. The narrow gauge frames they used were otherwise inferior. Car re-numbered to 88107 and 11019. Purchased by WP&YR in 1963, and remounted on a Pullman flatcar. The inferior narrow gauge frames had been falling apart. The flatcar now under it was made in 1942. The current Car No. is 53.
