Good to hear from you sir!
When we get closer to getting this caboose finished, you will have to come up and visit again. As previously discussed, we will also need your assistance with the interior stove piping.
Our intention from the beginning of this restoration has been that Caboose 1006 will be CAPABLE of operation. It may operate seldom (perhaps only once a year). The Town of Silver Plume has expressed their desire for it to go back on display on the short display track in town. However, they also seem excited that they could actually ride in their caboose on special occasions.
