When we remodeled our home we decided that new front entry doors would be nice. After talking with the company that sold us the doors I was convinced that installing doors is definitely a specialty and not for an inexperienced woodworker to attempt. I watched the carpenter install the doors. Lots of measuring, light cutting, planning , shimming and sanding to get the door to fit square and swing true. Now this installation was on a building built on a slab foundation so not much movement, but being in California you never know. Being installed on a “Bobber “ (4 wheel caboose that earned that nickname) I’m assuming that after a while on the road things will loosen up and start to move. We have a way to go before we start thinking about doors but a professional carpenter consultant might, In the future be a good idea (your project is way ahead of ours and looks very good, keep up the good work!).
