There seems to be a perception among some folks that only D&RGW stuff is welcome here because so much of what is posted here is on that RR. So these floks go elsewhere to post, thus creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I have also noted before that, in various threads that got into this kind of question, the vast majority of the D&RGW threads regard just two subdivisions, the Silverton Branch and the section of the one-time 4th Div. main that became C&TS, and even those starting mostly in 1950 or later. Not so much on D&RG or D&RGW Ry or even the old 3rd Div lines.
RGS gets an occasional flurry as does the Farmington Branch but pretty much anything else is on a semi-occasionaly basis, every other Blue Moon or so.
Note that The Georgetown Loop (modern) and the Como happenings get most of the C&S air here, again modern tourist lines get the attention, anything before 1940(ish) is Ancient Days, Terra Incognita, etc.
At least that's the way it seems to me. Of course I don't help a lot since I mostly lurk unless there is a question I can answer. Or a pun or joke I can't resist making.
So to see more C&S here, post more C&S stuff here. Or any other line. There have been long threads on just about any 3' gauge that made it into the 20th century, at one time or another. Sometimes we go hog-wild and talk about the 19th too! Note that a few people have made WW&F in Maine a regular feature here, it only takes somebody to get things started.
[steps off soap box]
So, who wants to talk about the Des Moines & Northwestern?
