Problem with the shot is that its DURANGO. My favorite K-36 over there. I think a C&TS shot there would be more appropriate, however with the SLRG in town, perhaps they felt this photo was more neutral. Someone probably just said "hey that's a nice train shot for our motel room". Beats a vase!!! The room does look nicer than most Super 8's I have seen. For those who may use these places, they are all under the Wyndum company. You can get rewards points using a Wyndum Credit Card. Its good for Travel Lodge, Super 8, and many others. I used it six nights on my trip in 2014, including 4 in Durango, and one each night in Salida, KS to and from Ohio. Great way to save some travel cash. Marriott also has a card, but its a fee for their card, although you get a free night that must be used within 6 months. They are good for Fairfield Inn, and others in their realm. Worth looking into these things.
