Mid Continent Railway Museum has also made up Miller Hooks and installed on a car.
The Miller Hook was also an early attempt at preventing telescoping of cars in wrecks. The hooks extended under the platforms of the adjacent cars, which prevented the cars from riding up over the platforms of the adjacent cars, or so it was claimed.
