That's OK, I'm used to being 'yelled at and scolded' on the net. Time and bandwidth wasting animations are just a pet peeve, they're almost as bad as pop-ups and those frelking smiley faces. That's one of the reasons I use Mozilla; I can turn off animations and pop-ups.
Surely there is a discussion group/web site where those who think animations are cute can go and impress one another with their Disneyesque cleverness.
When I access the net with my 56k dial-up service I'm looking for information with a minimum amount of distraction and hassle. If I want to be 'entertained' I'll go turn on the TV.
The main goal of marketing is to make stupid people spend money they don't have, on stuff they don't need.
