2020 has been a challenging year.
In spite of all of the challenges it has been a good year.
I with many of you had my vacation/travel plans interrupted, and we all have had to adapt to what may become a new "normal".
But I am very grateful for the things I have been blessed with.

I and my family are healthy. Many members of my extended family contracted covid-19 but they have all recovered.
I and many family members had to miss important events like weddings and funerals, because of quarantine and travel restrictions, but the weddings still took place and that is the important thing.
I and my wife are still employed. We still have the same jobs and same pay we did at the beginning of the year.
I did not get to see any narrow-gauge railroads this year, and many events were delayed or canceled. However the narrow-gauge railroads were able to run and I was able to see photos and videos that many of you were able to take and post.
The East Broad Top railroad got a new start this year.

Yes it has been a challenging year, but I am grateful that I have been blessed this year.

I invite everyone to count their blessings rather than stress over our challenges.
