Johnson, the bottom drawing in Jerry's post was meant to be labeled K-36. The drawings themselves are identical but the actual tenders have some variations as noted, and a lot of similarities also.

The folios (found for example in NGP XI) for the K-28 and K-36 show extreme width of tank at 9.5' and 8.5' respectively (give or take a quarter inch). Maxwell's K-36 drawing concurs with the 8.5' and Alco's K-28 tender tank drawing reflects 9.5'. This corresponds with the dimensions Earl gave for tender widths.
