Once the track and fence projects were completed, everyone finished the day working on our new "entrance garden"
A monorail parking barrier was constructed along the old fence line to keep people from parking in our new "garden". As an added bonus, we finally found a use for a few of the many tie butts that are left over after converting standard gauge ties to the correct length.

A few line side signs were planted in the garden (a crossbuck post alongside the Gunnison Main Line, a whistle board, a milepost an a derail marker). These are all concrete signs that came from the C&S standard gauge line north of Denver. They are a standard CB&Q design that was not used on the C&S narrow gauge, but we felt that they would make a good display to show the types of signs that were found along the line. In the future, some signage explaining the signs and their purpose will be place in the "garden".
