I added in my hike of a spur that branched off of the main forest road. This can be seen as the denser squares to the southwest. The grade actually goes farther than what I hiked but I was getting far from the chase vehicle. I'll have to pick up the end of that grade on another trip along the road to the south.

I have some other grades that I touched on as we drove out to the southeast but that is all for this evening.

A lot of this grade is just on an earthen mound.


We also found segments where the grade was composed of smaller rock.


Occasionally we would find a fluted spike or a broken piece of track hardware.
