Correct. We went scouting for one of the runaway tail tracks a couple years ago. One of the old stone and steel bridges of the original route is still there, but highway widening had obliterated the runaway track. Here’s a web article on the replacement spiral tunnels, and a couple shots of the 3’ Moguls that helped construct them. One of the Moguls is still down the hillside, but pretty much only the boiler & tender tank remain.
