And include thanks to ALL of you who posted pics and video of the past few days!!  #20 has always been one of my most favorite N.G. locos, ever since the early 1960's when I first saw that famous Bill Moedinger photo with the brakeman riding the pilot and then saw her in person at the CRRM.  I saw her again in January, 1973, on a rather cool day when it was a bit surprising that the museum was even open:




IIRC, the above have been posted before, but I couldn't find them to set up a link, so please forgive the duplication.  Also, since it's been of interest lately, here's a snow-blurred long-range shot of the Golden City & San Juan logo taken the same day – although it was on the tender atttached to #318 at the time, not #20's:


I sure am hoping to get back to narrow gauge country to see both "new" ten-wheelers,* the progress in Como, and lots more next year!   Congratulations to all involved, and thanks again to all of you generous documentarians!!

*  How about bringing the third "new" ten-wheeler to the C&TS next year for a ten-wheeler triple header?  Or, even better, a series of triple-headers and double-headers plus a rear-end helper, so that all three – #18, #20 and #168 – get a turn as road engine, helper, and pusher.
