If this is really how you all feel, why don't you write a well thought out letter and send it to CHS with copies to your representative, senator, and governor? CHS already has a pre-canned response, but at least they'll know that people give a _ _ _ _ and what they feel towards the situation. If they get enough input from enough sources, perhaps they may begin to realize what is going on.
And, yes Dale, you are correct about a lot of the locals. They bite the hand (GLR) that feeds their communities. They at least pretend to be friendly to the train's patrons. No worries though, the tracks don't go into either community, yet $s from the railroad do.
There's a lot of people that never thought narrow gauge lines would change years ago. Perhaps many routes may be still around if more people spoke up? When you've sent your letters out, plan your trip to GLR and come for a ride.
