Years ago I saw a wonderful large photographic print of railroad activity that was part of a Fresno County display at the Los Angeles County Fair.
This was an overhead view of switching being done at a raisin processing plant. A long string was being positioned on the center track between two other cuts of house cars. There was a slight curve under the 0-6-0 switcher and the fireman was leaning out his window looking up at a crew member on the end of the car next to the render. Further down the cut was another man (I cannot remember where he was located). Then at the end of the cut was yet another man.
To me this is a wonderful view showing how railroad once were. And I have for years desired to get a copy. Maybe I will schedule some time in Fresno to try to find the source and maybe a copy of the view.
