Sorry, youse guys -
But since that cheapskate JéBêWèX never did pay for the yodeling lessons like he promised, my talents in that direction don't meet Jim Wrinn's strict audio requirements for a
Trains video. Funny you should ask, though, since just yesterday I re-discovered some relevant posts when searching for info on 'The Little (or Mini) High Line. While several phellow Phraud-O-Graphers® and I were waiting for the President's Train and a following double-header at the Little High Line back in 2005, I performed the world premier rendition of
'The Ballad of Festus Frothjaw'. It echoed fantastically (or frighteningly) in Elbert Canyon, and fortunately for the other half-dozen fans they were a hundred yards or more closer to Rockwood. (The original photos were lost when the NGDF changed servers circa 2006 or 2007, so see the 2008 re-posting at [
ngdiscussion.net])
And – speaking of Roger's kind suggestion r.e. earplugs – see Jason Rose' video of the second performance of
'Festus', aka
'The Foamite Song', at the bottom of [
ngdiscussion.net]. (NO Yodeling Included.)
