White Pass & Yukon 41 years ago-#73 in Whitehorse

A repost of the servicing facilities in Whitehorse:


Based on what I learned from you folks here, steam locomotive #73 had been moved from Bennett to Whitehorse for rebuilding sometime within the preceding two weeks. So unless they had somewhere else (I saw nothing at the time). Is #73 in that engine house?

Did my Pentax see #73 that day when I missed it? It was a long day. Then again, it could be just a tanker; surely I would have noticed #73? No recollections., 41 years.
