You have two different identities here. From Alamosa to just north of South Fork is the San Luis & Rio Grande. From South Fork (offically the station name is "Derrick") north to Creede is owned by the Denver & Rio Grande Historical Foundation. The D&RGHF got crosswise with the town of Creede and the town petitioned to have the track within the city limits abandoned and removed. The D&RGHF operated glorified "speeder" rides from South Fork to Wasson, the wye just south of Creede. This service ended a few year ago, the last I heard the line was for sale. The SLRG used the Monte Vista - South Fork line for car storage in the past.
