Mike,
Most of the information we have had in Colorado is anecdotal, and came from Bob Richardson as a source. Which is a pretty good source.
There have been some articles written in Colorado RR Museum Annual Publications that contain information, but I don't believe any documented information was cited as a source.
Maybe someone here can help out with some information. I'd be glad to be able to see more pictures of the engines in Alaska, as well as to learn more of their fate.
