Nice site, great pics. Regarding the K-28s you state:
"The Railroad uses 3 K-28 2-8-2 Locomotives; numbered 473, 476, and 478,... these three are the last of their class, as all others were taken by the US Army for use in Alaska and were declared as junk when they were returned."
What documented proof do you have to support this conjecture that they were "declared as junk". Declared by whom? Mr. Heavener's fiction website does not count as documented proof; he refuses to answer queries and can not support his claim.
Is this just another 'urban legend' or is there some real proof?
