I heard a Radio Interview that basically said that they are still shooting for 3 Locomotives for May, They stopped just short of guarnteeing 2 with the 488 hitting the rails soon after.
Let's hope that work will continue on 489 during the summer. The Summer season has proven difficult to rebuild locomotives as the servicing of the summer fleet takes priority. If they can make progress on 489 this summer then next winter could be used to turn the attention to 497 and 463.
But I am not a part of the C&TS, just a Monday Morning Quarterback
