When I made the original post, I kinda wondered if the NNG shortline pics might be the most interesting. Proved to be the case, so here's a couple more just for devilment.....
The first three are on the road with the Graham County. I think they're all in the vicinity of the Southern interchange in Topton. The second shot more clearly shows the replacement 3229 smokebox number plate worn by 1926 that year.
The next shot is the engineer's side of Tweetsie 208 in 1962, while the last is 207 in the following year. Unfortunately it was a heavily overcast day, and the exposure didn't turn out the best.
It's great that this Forum provides a venue for these old photos, now heading into 60 years of age. Otherwise they'd pretty much go unseen. And I really love the photos of you folks who photographed the Rio Grande in its last years. They're a great record. I'll post a couple early years shots of the C&TS in due course.
